The specialist in Gastroenterological Surgery should have acquired theoretical, scientific and professional knowledge in the field of pathophysiology, functional and technical semeiotics as well as knowledge of general surgery, with specific expertise in traditional, minimal invasive gastroenterological surgery and also with specific expertise in the emergency and urgent care surgery, in surgical oncology and in replacement and reconstructive surgery.
