The degree course in Podiatry aims to train operators of health professions in the area of rehabilitation that will perform, with ownership and autonomy, activities aimed at prevention, care, rehabilitation and functional evaluation procedures, with respect to individuals and the community. The future podiatrist will carry out rehabilitation and/or therapeutic treatment on adolescents, adults and elderly. Students will learn the cultural and professional principles that guide the diagnostic, cultural and technical process of podiatry to patients and will learn how to implement health education programmes for postural pathologies.
